George Moore was born in Trowbridge, Wiltshire on 21 November 1859. A Labourer by occupation, he enlisted into the Royal Marines at Plymouth in November 1877. His service record further reveals that he was attached to the R.M. Battalion in Egypt between May and September 1884, and that he was discharged in June of the following year. Sold with copied service paper.
