Silver Medal awarded to ‘Mr George Taylor Menhenick, Trewarmet, Tintagel, for descending a disused mine shaft and rescuing a terrier dog’ (Ref. R.S.P.C.A. Annual Report 1927).

Sold with a sheet of paper, taken from a book, on which is written, ‘From the Author (Frederick Sleep) as a small recognition of the brave and noble action in rescuing a dog from a disused mine shaft on June 22/27’.
