M.S.M. London Gazette 12 December 1919. ‘... in recognition of valuable services rendered in connection with the War’.

Edward Claude Calvert was born in Pinner, Middlesex, on 21 December 1868. He attested for service with the Canadian Expeditionary Force in London in March 1916 and was posted to the 32nd Battalion. Serving in England throughout the war, he was awarded the M.S.M. for his valuable services. He was discharged in England on 9 July 1919. Sold with copied service papers.
