Worthy Fry, who was born at Doudlais, Glamorganshire and enlisted in the Devonshire Regiment at Barnstaple, was a holder of the Military Medal (M.M.). He died of wounds on 20 April 1918, while serving in the 1st Battalion and is buried in the Tannay British Cemetery, Thiennes.
