Bronze almost extremely fine, silver brilliant and practically as struck; both in original black fitted cases (£50-70)

The Phillips signature is only clear at the bottom of the reverse on the earliest Stowe medals and is present on the 1930 medal in this lot. By 1932 the signature had virtually disappeared, a victim, one presumes, of clogged dies
