1 officer and 27 other ranks of the 2nd Battalion, Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry were present at Abu Klea in the Mounted Infantry Camel Corps.
James Millbanks was born in London in 1860 and attested for the 46th Regiment of Foot on 24 June 1879. He is shown on the rolls as a Bugler at Tel-El-Kebir and also at Abu Klea.
