Edward III (1327-1377), Pre-Treaty period, Half-Noble, series Gh/Gg mule, mm. cross 3, open e on obverse, with protruding central bar on reverse, pellets either side of upper lis of cross, closed c at centre of reverse, 3.50g/11h (LAL 13/13; SCBI Schneider 53; N 1188/1187; S 1494). Crease removed (with associated marks), otherwise about very fine, the mule very rare £1,500-£1,800
