Richard Forman Tomlinson was born at Felsted, Essex, and attested for the Royal Horse Artillery at Braintree, Essex. He served with “G” Battery, R.H.A. durig the Great War on the Western Front from 1916, and died of wounds on 14 November 1916. He is buried in Aveuy Wood Cemetery, Mesnil-Martinsart, France.
Florence Tomlinson, wife of the above, served as a Forewoman with Queen Mary’s Army Auxiliary Corps during the Great War.
