Charles Henry Hose attested for the Royal Field Artillery, and served with ‘D’ Battery, 242nd Brigade during the Great War on the Western Front from 31 March 1915. He was killed in action on 5 June 1917, and is buried in St. Quentin Cabaret Military Cemetery, Belgium.
