Memorial Plaque (Walter Morris Empson) machine tooled on edge at 2-4 o’clock to create serrated ridges/gear wheel like teeth for unknown reasons, otherwise very fine £50-£70
Walter Morris Empson attested for the Royal Flying Corps and was serving as an Air Mechanic 2nd Class at the Recruits Depot when he died of pneumonia on 18 October 1916. He is buried under a C.W.G.C. headstone in Willesden New Cemetery, Middlesex. The plaque appears to be his only entitlement
