Harry Sunter, a native of Oswaldtwistle, enlisted into the 21st Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers on 11 May 1916 (36273) and transferred to the Machine Gun Corps on 12 October 1916. Served in France and Flanders from 16 March 1917, 216 Coy, later 1st Battalion, Machine Gun Corps. Sold with copied soldier’s papers.
