Daniel-Dupuis, from the obverse of his Société d’Encouragement medal, semi-naked female sat in tricycle, right hand holding a torch and left hand on the tiller, named (Lockroy, Ministre de la Marine), 115 x 109mm (cf. PBE 95; cf. BM Acq. 1983-7, pl.39, 63). Extremely fine and extremely rare; in a contemporary (?) brown case (£200-250)
