Anne, Lady King, Baroness of Ockham (1688-1767), née Seyes, Welsh aristocrat and philanthropist originally from Boverton, Glamorgan, married the lawyer and politician Peter King, 1st Baron King (1669-1734) in 1704. They had six children and lived at Ockham, Surrey. Her husband was MP for Bere Alston 1700-15, and later appointed Speaker in the House of Lords and Lord Chancellor in 1725
