Horace Edward Charles Buchan, of Poplar, London, served with both the 10th Battalion King’s Royal Rifle Corps and the 59th Company Machine Gun Corps during the Great War on the Western Front. He died of wounds on 17 August 1917; he has no known grave and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
Albert Dow, of Catford, Kent, served with the 13th Battalion King’s Royal Rifle Corps during the Great War on the Western Front and was killed in action on 10 July 1917. He is buried in Birr Cross Roads Cemetery, Belgium.
Robert Greenwood served with the King’s Royal Rifle Corps during the Great War on the Western Front from January 1915. He was discharged as physically unfit for War Service having been wounded, and was entitled to the Silver War Badge number B155580
William Price, of Acock’s Green, Birmingham, served with the 1st Battalion King’s Royal Rifle Corps during the Great War on the Western Front from April 1915. He was killed in action during the Battle of Loos on 29 September 1915. he has no known grave, and is commemorated on the Loos Memorial, France.
Joseph Henry Ware, of Lower Clapton, London, served with the 13th Battalion King’s Royal Rifle Corps during the Great War on the Western Front. He died on 6 February 1919 and is buried in the Terlincthun British Cemetery, Wimille, France.
