Thomas Moore served in France from 14 August 1914, initially with the 2nd Battalion, Highland Light Infantry, and later with the 12th Battalion. He was discharged wounded on 30 December 1918 and died on 10 April 1921. A note on his m.i.c. states that a replacement Star and Clasp was issued on payment in November 1923.
