DEVON, Tavistock, Devon Mines, Penny, 1811, Prince of Wales’ feathers, rev. mining engine, chimney emitting smoke to right fully up to the inner circle, edge plain, 24.66g/6h (W 1130a). Extremely fine and well-struck, extremely rare with this edge; lacking the usual reverse die flaw and with the smoke fully extended, perhaps a trial, certainly an early striking, extremely rare £200-260
