Egypt and Sudan 1882-89, dated reverse, no clasp (3738. Sergt. G. Trebble, Coldm. Gds.) surname partially officially corrected, traces of brooch mounting to obverse and suspension claw re-affixed, good very fine £60-80

Provenance: Ex Sir Torquil Matheson Collection.

G. Trebble served with the 2nd Battalion Coldstream Guards in Egypt, and died of enteric fever at Alexandria on 29 September 1882.

Sold together with a group photographic image of the Officers and Men of No. 10 Company, 2nd Battalion, Coldstream Guards.
