Volunteer Artillery Officer’s Blue Cloth Helmet c. 1902-08, the cloth skull complete with all silver plated fittings, the frontal plate of Royal Arms pattern with double wheel cannon and bottom scroll ‘Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt’, the plate is original to the helmet, buff leather sweatband and retailer’s details ‘Hobson & Sons, London’, the front metal peak trim fractured, the cork body fractured below the left hand chin chain support and some of the green skiver lining lacking from the rear peak, otherwise reasonable condition £200-300
