Frederick James Conibere was born at Winscombe, Somerset, and enlisted at Taunton. He entered the Balkan theatre of war on 21 July 1915 and was killed in action at Loos, France, on 2 April 1916, aged 20. He is buried in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Loos.
