Queen Caroline, 1821, Large Portrait medal, copper, 80 mm, bust left, draped; the edges decorated with a spray of laurel wreath and a suspension loop consisting of an entwined rose, thistle and shamrock.Very fine and rare (£60-80)

Various medals and other memorabilia were produced in support of Queen Caroline at the time of her trial in 1821. Although this piece appears to be unpublished, the portrait does occur on another medal (BHM 1026).
