A Japanese sword Wakizashi, the 33cm blade of hira-zukuri form midare hamon single hi to each side, two mekugi-ana, signed ‘Kinmichi saku’ (Kinmichi made this) plain copper habaki, hilt fish-skin covered tsuka now lacking its binding but retaining its iron fuchia-kashira and a single shakudo menuki, iron tsuba decorated with figures in a landscape, in its black lacquer saya, mounts worn overall £250-300
