Lieutenant Derek Michael Coultas, 86 (The Hertfordshire Yeomanry) Field Regiment, Royal Artillery, was killed by a land mine on 22 April 1945, aged 22 years. He was buried in Becklingen War Cemetery, Germany. He was the son of Harold Wilberforce Coultas and Evelyn Kate Coultas, of Harborne, Birmingham. Derek Coultas, a Research Scholar, held a B.A., Hons from Birmingham University.
4394866 Corporal James Kitto, 1st Battalion Green Howards, died/was killed in Italy on 23 May 1944, aged 30 years. He was buried in Beach Head War Cemetery, Italy. He was the son of James and Hannah Kitto, of Scarborough and husband of Dorothy Kitto, of Scarborough. With Loyal Service Badge and cap badge.
