Walter James Stacey was born and lived in Lambeth, London and enlisted at Hounslow. Serving in the 4th Battalion Royal Fusiliers, he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 13 August 1914. He died of wounds on 21 October 1914 and was buried in the Bethune Town Cemetery. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details.
