An 1821 pattern light cavalry officer’s sword, the curved 81.5cm undecorated pipe-back blade back-edged for the last 25cm, regulation steel three-bar guard, stepped pommel and tang button, fish-skin covered grip bound with silver wire, complete with its Indian made wood scabbard covered with black ass-hide, mounted with good quality silver Indian made top locket and chape, both pierced through en-suite with a repeat feather pattern, the locket with beaded borders and raised ridged frog-stop, good condition overall £200-250
