James Frith was born in Hinckley, Leicester and enlisted at Doncaster. Serving in the 10th Battalion York and Lancaster Regiment, he died of wounds, France/Flanders, on 15 July 1917, aged 27 years. He was buried in the Hazebrouck Communal Cemetery. James Frith was the husband of E. S. Frith, of 3 Barrack Yard, Hinckley. With copied casualty details.
