Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 5 clasps, Relief of Kimberley, Paardeberg, Johannesburg, Diamond Hill, Wittebergen (Lieut., Remt. Dept.); King’s South Africa, 2 clasps (Lieut., 10/Hus.) very fine (2)
Served in the Boer War with South African Mounted Irregular Forces. During the Great War he served in France and Belgium from October 1914, attached to the R.A.S.C. until July 1916. He was afterwards on the Staff as Assistant Provost Marhal, was wounded and awarded the Military Cross. Sold with a copy of a signed photograph and some research.
