John Frederick Broughton was born in Hounslow, Middlesex in 1861. In the 1901 Census he was living with his wife and four children at Orchard Place, Faversham, Kent; employed as a Wheelwright. In the 1911 Census he was living in the same place with his wife and mother; employed as a Mechanic Wheelwright. Awarded the Long Service Medal in A.O. May 1906. He died in Sittingbourne, Kent in 1947. With copied research.
William Henry Black was born in Romford, Essex in 1870. In the 1891 Census he was living with his parents and seven siblings at the George Inn, Queen Street, Milton, Gravesend, Kent; he was employed as a Carpenter’s Assistant. In the 1901 Census, employed as a Joiner, he was living with parents and five siblings at 114 Milton Road, Milton and in 1911, employed as a Carpenter and Builder, he was living with his wife and three children at 24 Mayfield Road, Northfleet, Kent. Awarded the Long Service Medal in A.O. August 1906. He died in 1926. With copied research.
