British Military Insignia an interesting selection including a Battalion Scout’s arm badge in white metal, a cast gilding metal badge for Baden Powell’s Boy Scouts 3 lug fasteners (the Royal crest over BPBS), a small silver badge for Baden Powell’s Girl Guides (Miss Agnes Baden Powell was President of the Association) the registration mark on the back of the badge dates 23.5.1910, an officer’s 1881 - 84 pattern collar badge to the Border Regiment in silver gilt and enamels (slight damage and now brooched), two badges to the Fiji Defence Force one with screw posts and probably unmarked silver, a strung bugle horn with ‘4’ within the strings (fasteners replaced), an officer’s gilt and silver plate cap badge to the Indian Transport and Supply Corps, a large cast silver plate or unmarked silver bonnet or plaid brooch to the Elliot family, a cast silver plate badge in the form of a bee, a pierced circular brass cap or shoulder title badge ‘Queen’s Westminsters’ enclosing ‘late’, a fine quality cap badge being a KC over a blackened silver cross of the Order of the Bath but with fretted portcullis with a coronet above, good overall condition (12) £150-250
