Cheshire Regimental Officer’s Side Hats, four interesting examples comprising a green cloth Torin type example with silver cord piping and silver metal thread embroidered cap badge being the Prince of Wales’s crest over a scroll ‘Earl of Chester’s Rifles’, an officer’s side hat in blue cloth with buff top bearing a full size cap badge in silver plate, gilt and enamels and with correct frontal buttons named to Captain Cooper Lambray, an officer’s khaki serge example with full size o.s.d. bronze cap badge but with General Service bronzed frontal buttons, a blue cloth side hat bearing a collar badge sized silver acorn badge with correct plated frontal buttons, initialled inside JPD, research indicates that this was James P. Drew 4th VB, 2nd Lieut. 4th March, 1903, slight moth damage to the first and fourth items otherwise in good overall condition £150-250
