Memorial Plaque 1914-18 (Cecil Arthur Bird), good very fine £40-60

Cecil Arthur Bird was killed in action on 30 November 1917, while serving as a Lance-Corporal in the 2nd Battalion, Hampshire Regiment. Aged 27 years, he was the son of Rebecca Bird of 14, Hunny Hill, Newport, Isle of Wight, and the late Henry James Bird, an Army Schoolmaster. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Cambrai Memorial at Louverval.
