Company Shako/Glengarry Badges for the 1st Edinburgh RVC, comprising a die stamped silver plate example for No. 10 Company (The Civil Service) featuring the Royal Arms of Great Britain over a suspended oval with St. Andrew in the centre and the thistle motto at the bottom, now fitted with a broken brooch fastener, the second for No. 15 Company (The 1st Merchants) in die stamped blackened brass and features a full achievement of arms for the Merchants Company and bottom scroll ‘Terra Que Marique’, two loop fasteners, the third stated to be for No. 16 Company features a crowned coiled bugle horn with ‘16’ within the coil in die stamped white metal, two loop fasteners, the fourth for No. 18 Company (The High Constables) in die stamped bronze features an oval Garter ‘Dum Spiro Spero’ with St. Andrew upon his cross in high relief, two loop fasteners; together with a green cord boss and plated QVC from a KRRC Officer’s busby, very good overall condition (5) £300-400
