1st Royal Lanark Militia Field Officer’s Waist Belt Plate c. 1856 - 1881, a very fine and rare example, the rectangular gilt back plate overlaid with a silver star of the Thistle, this in turn mounted with a circular strap ‘1st Royal Lanark’ and enclosing the floreated precedence numerals ‘74’ in gilt upon a domed silver ground, complete with loose D end, near mint state £200-300
