Clayton Conyers Morrell was born in Southport in 1879. He was educated at St. Edward’s School, Oxford and Oxford and Liverpool Universities. He qualified in Medicine as M.D. (Brussels), L.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. (Edinburgh), L.S.A. (London), D.P.H. (London). Lieutenant Clayton Conyers Morrell, R.A.M.C. qualified for his 1914-15 Star by serving on the Hospital Ship Oxfordshire in October 1914. With copied m.i.c. and some other research.
