Only 8 medals with this clasp issued to the East Lancashire Regiment. Dunbar was one of five men of the 2nd Bn. East Lancashire Regiment who was attached to the 1st Bn. Hampshire Regiment for this expedition. In addition, one officer and two other ranks of the East Lancs. received this medal for service with other units.
