15th The King’s Hussars Officer’s Levee Sword. Of mameluke pattern the 81 cm slightly curved blade by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, etched with St. Edward’s crown over ‘King’s Hussars’ on both sides, gilt cross piece and quillons of regimental pattern, carved and chequered ivory grip with chaste gilt back strap, red and gold cord sword knot, contained in its fish skin covered wooden scabbard this further ornamented with very fine gilt brass mounts and carrying rings, very fine overall condition £2000-2500
