Martinique, St. Vincent-Martinique, Authority on St. Vincent August 1798, Sixty-Six Shillings, PORTUGAL, Maria I and Peter III, 6,400 Réis, 1782, Lisbon, obv. countermarked with s raised within a square indent three times spaced around the edge; the coin moved to Martinique, valued at Twenty-Two Livres per gros and countermarked with 22 above eagle raised within a shaped indent (authorised September 1805), 11.54g/178.1gr/7.42 dwt (cf. Gordon 110). Coin and countermarks very fine, medium clip around most of the edge, extremely rare £3,000-3,500
