Frederick Wright was born in Willesden, Middlesex. A General Labourer by occupation, he attested for the 20th Hussars at Colchester on 9 April 1886, aged 20 years. With them he served in Egypt, September 1888-November 1890. Discharged on 5 April 1898. With copied service papers and other research.
