Life Saving Plaque, a late Victorian or Edwardian silver-plated presentation plaque, displaying an animated scene of a drowning man being rescued, with two men in a rowing-boat pulling out to help, whilst onlookers on the quayside watch the drama - one a policeman, another throwing a lifebelt, oval, 191 x 144mm., with embellished border, this pierced in four places for attachment, very fine and attractive £100-150
