Private C. Wright, 1st Battalion Essex Regiment, entered the Balkan theatre of war on 21 August 1915. As a Serjeant he was awarded the M.S.M. for service in France/Flanders. Wright was transferred to the Class ‘Z’ Reserve on 21 January 1919. With copied gazette extracts and m.i.c. for the W.W.1 medals.
