Kenneth Webber, who was from Barry, served for most of his career in the Welsh Guards as a member of the Support Company (Anti-Tank Platoon), and accordingly was not present on the occasion of the loss of the Sir Galahad. A Battalion boxer 1978-80, he also served at least two tours of duty in Northern Ireland - accompanying notes refer; together with some copied regimental images, including the recipient.
