A rare WW2 period khaki felt slouch hat, the pagri of white linen with a green linen top edge and bearing a diamond shaped green cloth badge with yellow embroidered ‘XIX’; complete with chin strap and leather sweatband, this stamped with supplier’s details, ‘J. Wear & Co. 1942’, some surface mothing otherwise good condition; together with Khaki Service Tunic and Cap, for an officer of the 19th Hyderabad Regiment, silver cap badge and collar badges, Kings crown, rank badges to the rank of Captain, minor service wear, otherwise good condition (lot) £150-200
