3rd (Prince of Wales’s) Dragoon Guards, a very fine officer’s silver flap pouch and full dress belt, full dress waist belt and clasp and one only sword sling; the pouch is marked for Birmingham 1874 and is mounted with a crowned ‘VR’ cypher, this bearing the Prince of Wales’s crest and motto in silver and gilt (this mount replacing an earlier one), the box of black leather lined with scarlet morrocan, the broad buff leather belt is faced with regimental pattern gold lace, the buckle tip and slider of ornate regimental pattern in gilt and silver; the waist belt complete with rectangular plate in gilt and silver and featuring a crowned ‘VR’ cypher, oak sprays and the motto ‘Dieu Et Mon Droit’, the lace part detached on the shoulder belt and near totally detached on the waist belt and sword sling otherwise all in very fine condition (4) £500-700
