A silver mounted Georgian officer’s dirk, the straight 32cm blade of flattened oval section adapted from an earlier rapier blade, silver mounted hilt with fluted ferrule and cushion pommel with silver tang-button, square section agate grip with facetted edges, silver cross-guard with ball finials, black leather blind tooled scabbard with silver locket with suspension ring and frog-stud, centre mount with suspension ring and chape, all fluted en-suite with the hilt mounts, blade with some areas of pitting and old fracture to agate grip otherwise good condition. £350-400
