WW1 CEF Pipe Banner, a very rare example of khaki cloth with, on one side only, a sewn on rust brown triangular panel, this in turn applied with sewn on designs. Nearest the fly a large circular badge of the 92nd CEF Battalion, design as for the glengarry badge, khaki cloth with raised painted legends, this is guarded by two soldiers in khaki doublets, coloured glengarries, tartan kilts, puttees and rifles. To the right, sewn on mid-green cloth, numerals and lettering ‘92nd Highlanders CEF’ complete with original fabric ties; WW1 Period Tam O’Shanter, of heavy woollen tartan construction bearing the white metal badge of the 48th Highlanders of Canada; a card of 15 officers’ large size tunic buttons for the Volunteer Battalions of the Gordon Highlanders; another card of 21 various buttons including a large size o/r tunic 91st Argyllshire Regiment Fife Mounted Rifles Vancouver Police Force (KC) R Irish Fusiliers Leinsters and a very large nickel button featuring the Maid and Harp within shamrock sprays, the back mark indicates 20th century manufacture, good overall condition (38) £250-350
