David McKelvie was born in Belfast and enlisted at Wexford on 14 May 1805, aged 24. He served for 13 years 287 days and was also present at Waterloo for which he received an additional 2 years service upon his discharge at Uxbridge on 24 February 1819. A cordwainer by profession, his conduct was described as ‘very good’. Sold with copy discharge papers.
