Military Watercolours, a framed and glazed watercolour painting by the late Rex Wymer showing the crossed colours of the 91st Argyll Highlanders, being those carried in the Peninsula Belguim and France and now deposited in St Giles Cathedral Edinburgh (the King’s colour fragmentary); A framed and glazed watercolour painting depicting the first pattern lance cap of the 16th Lancers, being the cap of George Baker, Cornet 16th LD 1809, Captain 16th Lancers 1820-26, a very fine right side illustration with excellent detail; two small framed and glazed hand coloured prints of single officers, c1830, Royal Sappers and Miners, and an untitled mounted figure probably Royal Artillery; an oriental silkwork on paper picture of the flags of the WWI Allies with KC above and a Union spray below, central provision for an oval photograph, supplied by the ‘Pohoomul Brothers Grand Indian Store Singapore’, notated on the reverse in pencil from ‘H Hawkes 39611 D Coy 25 Middlesex Regt Tanglin Singapore’ and sent to his mother/wife in Norwich, good overall condition (5) £40-60
