Aubrey Rodney Jefferies died of wounds on 20 July 1916 and is buried at La Neuville British Cemetery, Corbie, Somme, France. Corporal Jefferies probably received his wounds ten days previously during the fierce fighting for Trones Wood. Sold with copied service papers.
