Fred Duerden, who was also entitled to the Victory Medal 1914-19 for his services as a Victualling Assistant in the Great War, was later awarded the M.B.E. as Chief Sales Superintendent for the Telephone Manager’s Office, Liverpool (London Gazette 11 June 1960 refers).
Albert E. Cogswell was also entitled to the 1914-15 Star and Victory Medal 1914-19 for his services as a 2nd Hand in the Royal Naval Reserve in the Great War.
