George Tudball was born in Dunster, Somerset and attested for service in the Somerset Light Infantry on 31 July 1878, aged 19 years, having previously served in the 1st Somersetshire Militia. His only service overseas was in South Africa, 2 May-18 September 1879. He took his discharge on 30 July 1890. Sold with copied service papers.
