Herbert Frank William Young was born in and enlisted at Cheltenham. Serving with the 5th Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 23 July 1916, aged 40 years. He was buried in Pozieres British Cemetery, Ovillers-la Boisselle. He was the husband of Annie Louise Young of 2 Springfield Place, Rosehill Street, Cheltenham.

Thomas Wells was born in and enlisted at preston, Lancashire. Serving with “A” Battery, 286th Brigade R.F.A., he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 17 August 1918. He was buried in Anzin-St. Aubin British Cemetery.
